3 Months ago, we thought that those words seemed like a novel idea.  What we didn’t realize was how powerful they actually are.  On October 20th, 2010 we are going to prove to our neighbours to the south that “We Have Money and are willing to Invest it too.”

We call it Fundation because we want to foster innovation through collaboration between investors, service providers, experience providers, and entrepreneurs.   This is not just about a 5-minute presentation, a 30 second elevator pitch or even a 30 minute capital discussion.  This is about bringing real people with real ideas together with real capital minus the conservative corporate stonewalling that has bear trapped the forward momentum of innovation in Canada for decades. Fundation is the starting point for Canadian companies and Canadian Ideas – for Canadian Innovation.  This is just the beginning.

At Canada’s first annual Fundation event on October 20th, 2010 we are going explore some ideas from the best and brightest entrepreneurs in Canada.  We will also explore some specific topics related to startup’s and have a talk from one of Canada’s biggest startup success stories.
